Hi folks;

What is the best software on the net to use for the animated backgrounds for Vista? I am trying to use some original are to create a DesktopX (which is working) with a generated Animated background like water ripples and water fall movement?

Can anyone shed some light on this? I figured that a lot of software companies on the web would jump on this.

I fould one but when it gets to the end of the scene it jumps on the screen?

Please help and any suggestions would be greatly ...

I am trying to take a wb4 skin and change the buttons from to old colored square ones lined up to the top right of the window to the new Vista buttons with the cool flair.

I have a few themes that have the good ones in them and I want to transfer after I get permission from the Arthur to use them on my skin I use myself. These buttons are too cool.

Also I would like to know how to make shadows around the borders of windows and menus,etc. without using FX.

Looking for a way to use two images with states drive exist and drive no exist.

When Ipod is docjed it has a drive letter of "J:\". If frive exist then a Green.png.square will appear. When Ipod id undocked and "j:\" doesn't exist then a red.png will appear.

I suppose a timer will have to be used to keep checking.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi folks;

I need some help on creatinng an image that will rolldow and rollup witha 3 stage button controlling the images.

I am into serious weather and I now use Frontpage to show the rolldown "on page enter"

and then use several images to romit up. Now i can setup a DesktopX browser control for the radar gif to show. But the cover images I have.

I just can't with photoshop get the image right so it will rolldown and then roll up.

Is there away to just hard code the login informetion so I don't have the fill it out.

Hi filks; I have a probable simple one for you. I have a parent for email thats called "Main_Back" and it has all the scripting to chect email, etc. Now I have placed a button on the Main_Back and made it part of the group and also a child. My problem is how to make the button fire the check mail manuly when I want instead of waiting for the timer to fire. Now I don't remember who wrote this email section but it has a button to bring up a configure screen for your info. Thanks Automan

Need a little help with understanding how to make skins with shadows? Can you use png;s with Windowblinds Builder?

I have seen skins with shadows and clear sections and need to know how to do it.

If anyone can clear this up for me I would really appreciate it!

Is it possible to use png's when creating a skin? I can't get any of them to show in the image list, and I am trying to make shadowed images.

Hey folks;

I am trying to move the long more programs section that shows all you programs over to the right so it lines up better with the start panel. Is this possible?

Also is it posible to get the more programs text to have shadow and change color on mouse over?

I need help in understanding or seeing code that on certain desktop objects you can click on the edge and it will be sunken into the desktop and blend right in.

Can anyone out there help on this? I have seen it with Recycling bins, etc.
