Hi folks;
Automan here again and have a good one for you. I use Frontpage to build certain web pages that will show data from an internet site like live Radar from a great source that when the page opens it thru Frontpage design rolls down. No need for programming into DesktopX. Sweet Deal. If anyone is interested in how to do this and use png's from DesktopX to go alongwith it then let me know.
Now here is my problem:
I am linking to a local television station that has a fantastic 3 sets of animated Gif's that will display depending on my local weather conditions. Now I finally downloaded all three images, we'll say 1. calm, 2. Watch, 3. Warning!.
Now I created the webpage and placed onto DesktopX with the Microsoft Web Browser Active X Control.
Well it only links to the image that is showing at the time. When the weather changes the image will no longer show.
I know that I have to use another image buttom on DesktopX to have the script that will say more or less if this html page image = this then is this image from C:\ where I have the correct image at or show the real image on their site. I would really rather show the downloaded image for copy right reasons what they don't know what hurts them.
I can then link the image to their sight to view their radar and conditions.
Any one up to this challange? I know your out there and I need you help.
Thanks
And if you need further information just let me know, I will place a watch on the post.
